The Team As part of a robust global delivery network comprised of 300 professionals, our Vietnam branch works closely with teams in Japan, India, Portugal, and the US to serve clients worldwide. We engage in a wide variety of projects, from cloud migration to digital modernization and advanced analytics, with a focus on operational excellence and agile project delivery. The Role We are looking for a Senior Japanese-Speaking Java Engineer to work onsite at our client's office in Tokyo, Japan, while leading our offshore team in Vietnam. Key responsibilities include: Developing high-quality, testable, and efficient code. Creating reusable components and libraries for future use. Diagnosing and troubleshooting to enhance performance, alongside providing thorough code documentation. Contributing to technical documentation and participating in code reviews. What You Bring A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in Java development, including technologies like Apache Camel and Azure. Familiarity with the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to design, development, testing, and implementation. Experience in the financial domain is advantageous. Willingness to be onsite in Japan for at least 2 years. Language Proficiency Japanese: Native or business level proficiency.
