The Role
As a Clinical AI Engineer, you will collaborate closely with the Product Lead, operating at the convergence of product development and clinical application. This position necessitates formal medical training and direct clinical experience. Your clinical insights will directly influence the design, assessment, and deployment of AI functionalities that enhance real-world care delivery. Experience in developing clinical AI products is highly desirable, as you will be involved in creating systems that must operate safely in live settings.
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive AI features: Design and implement full-stack solutions (from React frontends to Python backend services) that utilize our voice AI and LLMs to streamline clinical workflows.
- Enhance Voice AI capabilities: Establish and optimize audio processing pipelines to ensure accurate performance of our Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) and LLM agents in varied real-world medical contexts.
- Connect models to product needs: Interpret complex clinician feedback into technical solutions, rapidly prototyping and rolling out enhancements to model behavior, prompting methodologies, and audio processing.
- Optimize for live interactions: Fine-tune systems to facilitate real-time engagement.
