We are in search of a Cloud Architect to assist clients in navigating their AWS cloud journey, crafting and executing solutions across diverse cloud domains such as infrastructure, data, applications, security, and beyond. In this role, you will collaborate closely with clients to design scalable AWS solutions that enhance business growth and operational efficiency. Utilize your skills to tackle complex technical challenges and support organizations in modernizing their cloud environments.
*This position requires quarterly travel to our Rochester, NY Headquarters.
Key Responsibilities:
· Engage with clients to understand technical and business requirements for AWS cloud initiatives.
· Design scalable cloud solutions utilizing AWS services tailored to your areas of expertise.
· Facilitate technical discovery sessions and architecture review workshops with clients.
· Produce architecture documentation, design patterns, and solution proposals aligned with business objectives.
· Offer technical guidance and architectural oversight to engineering teams.
· Encourage the adoption of cloud-native patterns and modern architectures based on client needs.
· Deliver presentations to client stakeholders articulating the value, architecture, and ROI of proposed solutions.
· Keep abreast of AWS innovations and industry best practices.
· Mentor fellow engineers and architects on cloud architecture and emerging technologies.
Experience Required:
· 3-7 years of hands-on experience in cloud architecture and implementation with AWS in one or more areas: Infrastructure, Data, Applications, Security.
