3E is on the lookout for a seasoned Platform Engineer who can assess risks associated with infrastructure changes and possesses experience in implementing mitigatory controls. You should adhere to DevOps best practices when constructing infrastructure projects using Terraform and Docker. We value teamwork and expect you to support your colleagues in managing 3E's production environments. Our ideal candidate:Fluent in English, the primary language of our companyPossesses at least 3 years of professional experience in a similar roleProficient in Linux administration and immutable OSExperienced with Docker and KubernetesSkilled in networking and performance troubleshooting (e.g., tcpdump, strace, ss)Knowledgeable in configuring IPSec VPN tunnelsFamiliar with AWS or other relevant cloud providersExperienced in designing and operating scalable infrastructureA collaborative team player with excellent communication skillsPossesses strong analytical abilitiesSecurity-minded and proactive in ensuring safety protocolsBonus points for:Experience with internal applications platforms and programmingExperience in an ISO27001 certified workplace

About the job

As our operations expand, we seek a skilled Cloud Platform Engineer to enhance the design, development, and maintenance of our cloud-based and on-premises infrastructures. In this role, you will lead and coordinate infrastructure-related projects for our SynaptiQ and R&D department application platforms.

You will be part of 3E’s infrastructure team, collaborating closely with the Site Reliability Engineering, Development, and Information Security teams, while reporting to the Information Security Teamlead.

As a Platform Engineer, you will be the primary contact for all infrastructure modifications:

Technical Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and executing infrastructure changes
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipelines
  • Ensure compliance with security protocols and best practices
  • Play a pivotal role in the Incident Management Process

Advisory Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship on infrastructure matters
  • Document infrastructure architecture, processes, and runbooks for team reference

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance infrastructure reliability
  • Monitor, maintain, and optimize performance, security, and reliability of the infrastructure
