Role Overview:

In the position of CNC Machine Operator, you will manage the daily operations of Laser, Punch, and Panel Bender machines. Utilizing work orders, blueprints, sketches, fabrication standards, and programs, you will produce high-quality components essential to Crusoe Fabricators' manufacturing process. This role is critical for ensuring precision, efficiency, and safety in our production environment. We seek a candidate with a robust understanding of CNC operations, blueprint analysis, and a steadfast commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Machine Setup and Operation: Prepare machinery for production, including loading materials and entering or modifying programs. Conduct pre-operation tests to ensure optimal functionality.

  • Blueprint Interpretation and Quality Assurance: Accurately read and interpret blueprints to meet customer specifications. Adjust mechanical processes or programs as necessary to achieve quality standards. Perform inspections using quality control systems.

  • Machine Maintenance and Tooling: Regularly assess CNC machines for tool condition, replace or sharpen tools as needed, and carry out daily maintenance to ensure operational excellence.

  • Documentation and Review: Validate work orders and programs for design accuracy and material requirements.

  • Additional Responsibilities: Complete other tasks as assigned by the supervisor to enhance operational success.

Qualifications:

  • CNC Experience: Minimum of 3 years in CNC machine operation, with a strong focus on laser and punch equipment.

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in blueprint reading and CNC programming.

  • Commitment to Safety: Strong dedication to maintaining a safe work environment.
