Your Responsibilities:Develop and oversee a robust sales pipeline aimed at exceeding software and services sales targets within your portfolio. Manage and finalize complex sales cycles, engaging in needs assessments, solution design, and contract negotiations using solution selling principles and the MEDDICC framework. Create and execute strategic account plans for a select group of key accounts within the Commercial sector (200-5,000 employees). Conduct thorough discovery sessions, aligning with clients on business objectives and strategic drivers to formulate a clear evaluation plan that instills urgency. Establish and maintain strong partnerships with local channel partners to uncover and pursue new business opportunities. Stay informed about local market trends, competitive dynamics, and business shifts within your assigned region. Balance strategic sales initiatives with transactional, high-volume opportunities. Identify and cultivate new business prospects within existing accounts by proactively targeting high-value needs across various departments and business lines. Utilize existing relationships to broaden Smartsheet's influence and drive revenue growth.

We are currently on the lookout for a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Account Executive to spearhead substantial revenue growth within our Commercial segment (businesses with 0-200 employees) in the Munich area. In this pivotal role, you will enhance and expand relationships with existing customers across your designated territory. Your responsibilities will include crafting and implementing strategic account plans, identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities, and facilitating the rapid adoption of Smartsheet solutions. A strong grasp of local market trends, coupled with the ability to forge and nurture solid customer relationships, is essential for success in this position.

This role is based at our Smartsheet office in Munich, Germany (hybrid eligible) and reports directly to the Regional Director of DACH Sales.
