The Opportunity
As a key player, you will oversee the commercial integrity of large-scale renewable projects, delivering trusted quantity surveying and contract management expertise from pre-construction through to project delivery. Your contributions will ensure that our projects are not only commercially viable but also governed effectively with robust supplier relations.
Collaborating closely with project teams, procurement, finance, and legal departments, you will have the opportunity to influence strategic decisions, enhance your commercial acumen, and expand your expertise across a diverse array of renewable initiatives. This role offers flexible working arrangements, allowing you to work across various UK locations, including London and Edinburgh. Travel requirements may vary by project, including potential site visits across the UK and occasional trips to Europe for supplier engagements.

Who You Are
We are in search of a seasoned Contract and Commercial Manager or Quantity Surveyor who is commercially driven, adept at navigating complex contracts, and passionate about delivering value within renewable energy projects. To qualify for this role, you should possess:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- Chartered membership of RICS
- Demonstrable experience managing contracts, valuations, cost reports, and payment processes
- In-depth knowledge of NEC and FIDIC contract forms
- Experience in cost reporting, forecasting, accruals, and change control on substantial projects
What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing commercial performance across designated renewable energy projects
- Creating cost estimates, reports, and forecasts aligned with project progress
- Leading valuation, payment, variation, and final account processes
- Providing clear commercial and contractual guidance to project teams
- Managing supplier relationships, claims, and commercial disputes
