Qualifications
Key Responsibilities: Business Partnership & Decision Support Collaborate with Sales, Partnerships, Revenue Operations, Marketing, and Product leaders to assess partner strategies, growth initiatives, commercial structures, and investments. Act as the principal finance advisor for significant commercial decisions, ensuring alignment with financial goals, incentive structures, and risk management. Challenge existing assumptions, rigorously evaluate proposals, and assist leaders in understanding trade-offs between growth, profitability, and risk. Commercial Performance & Insights Oversee profitability analyses for customers, products, and channels, pinpointing performance drivers and actionable improvement avenues. Establish and maintain essential commercial KPIs such as revenue quality, partner contributions, deal economics, cost-to-serve, margins, customer acquisition economics, retention, and LTV/CAC. Develop comprehensive, executive-ready narratives that elucidate business performance and its underlying causes. Pricing, Deals & Investment Economics Contribute to pricing strategies, revenue sharing agreements, and commercial terms to ensure disciplined and repeatable deal outcomes. Construct financial models for new partnerships, channel launches, and embedded or indirect go-to-market initiatives. Assess ROI on commercial investments and suggest necessary adjustments. Planning, Forecasting & Governance Assist in revenue forecasting and scenario analysis, taking into account commercial risks and opportunities. Collaborate with the broader Finance team to ensure that forecasts, plans, and incentives reflect actual economic conditions.

As the Commercial Finance Lead – Channels and Partnerships, you will serve as a vital finance partner to the Channel Sales, Partnerships, and Product leadership teams. Your focus will be on driving Convera’s partner-led growth strategies, which encompass indirect channels, strategic alliances, embedded finance, and distribution partnerships.
Your primary objective is to enhance commercial decision-making, covering areas such as pricing strategies, deal structuring, customer profitability, and growth investment trade-offs.
This position reports directly to the Head of Commercial Finance (Partners and Channels) and operates at the convergence of finance, strategy, and execution. You will convert data into insights, transform insights into actionable strategies, and translate actions into measurable financial outcomes.
