Your Role

We are expanding our Insurance Core Sales Team and seeking a Commercial Insurance Broker to specialize in new business sales. In this role, you will handle warm inbound leads from our embedded partnerships, providing quotes and securing coverage for small and medium-sized enterprises while establishing a solid foundation in commercial insurance.

This is an entry-level broker position with a clear trajectory toward senior producer or growth team roles as you gain expertise in underwriting and placement. This role emphasizes high-volume new business without the burden of cold calling or service tasks, all within a fast-paced startup atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete new business sales cycle for commercial property and casualty insurance, from initial lead to binding.

  • Handle 25-50 warm inbound opportunities daily while achieving activity and revenue goals.

  • Provide expert advice to SMB clients regarding coverage options and effective risk management strategies.

  • Quote, market, and place various admitted commercial insurance products.

  • Collaborate with carriers to identify and secure the most suitable coverage solutions.

  • Utilize Coverdash’s quoting platform and AMS to create and finalize insurance policies.

  • Enhance your understanding of carrier guidelines, underwriting principles, and product offerings to boost closing rates.
