Your Responsibilities

As a Communications & Events Associate, you will be crucial in implementing external communication strategies for Flatiron's International teams, specifically in Germany and the UK. Working alongside our local Partnerships teams and the US Communications and Marketing team, you will lead initiatives that showcase Flatiron's unique Real-World Evidence (RWE) expertise in oncology on a global scale. This role demands strategic storytelling, social media proficiency, brand development, field marketing skills, and the ability to engage with local partners and vendors while staying informed about the latest trends in cancer research, healthcare, and technology.

  • Develop and execute communication strategies and tactical plans that align with business goals, target audiences, and industry trends in Germany and the UK, including digital and social media campaigns, robust content creation, and copywriting for platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Blogs, and website content.
  • Create content and editorial calendars that support major conferences, milestones, partnerships, and events, ensuring a cohesive global narrative that reflects corporate voice, tone, and key messages.
  • Collaborate with the brand team to enhance website content and design.
  • Coordinate Flatiron's involvement in conferences and events, overseeing logistics, registration, speaking engagements, and booth management.
  • Support initiatives that elevate our patient advocacy program, Flatiron Voices, by crafting content that transitions from corporate messaging to emphasize patient impact and community needs, collaborating with the corporate communications team to highlight these stories internally.
