About
The HMCT Division at The University of Kansas Health System consists of a team of leading experts dedicated to advancing the treatment of hematologic malignancies and immune deficiencies. Our division features 20 faculty members who are committed to pioneering innovative therapies. We operate a state-of-the-art outpatient care facility and a therapeutic blood treatment/apheresis center, receiving over 800 referrals annually and performing more than 300 transplants and CAR-T/cell therapy procedures each year.Our program is FACT Accredited and offers a comprehensive portfolio of pharma-sponsored and investigator-initiated clinical trials for BMT and CAR-T therapies. With a recent philanthropic gift of $66 million, we are poised to construct a cutting-edge three-floor inpatient care unit dedicated to patients with hematologic malignancies and solid tumors.Recognized for excellence, we have achieved the US News & World Report's 'Best Hospital' designation for Cancer Hospitals for the 12th consecutive year and are an NCI-designated Cancer Center and CIBMTR BMT CTN affiliate.
