At Soundly Speaking Therapy Services, we are seeking a registered dietitian who is eager to apply their expertise in nutrition while working empathetically with adults experiencing intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (IDD), as well as their caregivers and guardians. Our mission is to enhance the health and wellness of our clients through comprehensive nutrition assessments, medical nutrition therapy, and supportive counseling. We are particularly interested in candidates who have a passion for or experience with adults diagnosed with Autism, Down Syndrome, or other related conditions.
As a part of our team, you will deliver both in-person and teletherapy services, and we offer a competitive hourly wage. Responsibilities include:
Providing high-quality therapy in clients' homes or online, while maintaining open communication with families regarding therapy sessions.
Engaging in weekly communication with families as needed to discuss goals and progress, as well as monthly updates with case managers.
Demonstrating adaptability and strong teamwork skills.
Submitting documentation within a 24-hour timeframe.
Maintaining confidentiality of patient records in accordance with HIPAA and applicable regulations.
