We are seeking a self-motivated Components Design Engineer who is eager to grow within a technologically advanced environment. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the maintenance of mechanical components and bespoke equipment tailored for the subsea sector.

Main Responsibilities

  • Create and modify 2D and 3D technical drawings using software such as AutoCAD and Inventor.
  • Develop comprehensive technical documentation for components, machinery, and structures.
  • Engage in the research, design, and development of new parts and assemblies.
  • Oversee and actively participate in prototype construction, providing technical support during production.
  • Ensure compliance with technical specifications and international standards (ISO, DIN).
  • Utilize ERP systems (SAP) for efficient project management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience; other related experience will also be considered.
  • Proficient with hand tools (e.g., wrenches, screwdrivers) and electrical tools (e.g., drills, grinders).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Knowledge of Engineering Analysis (FEA) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, and sheet metal work.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience with CAD software, especially Autodesk AutoCAD and Inventor.
