Role overview
The Construction Coordinator in Dallas will work closely with project management and field teams to support residential construction projects throughout the area. This role manages multiple projects at once, prioritizes daily tasks, and ensures clear communication between teams. The position is part of the growing infill construction group as Homebound expands into more suburban markets.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the construction operations department by scheduling meetings, preparing notes, and handling administrative tasks.
- Provide document and administrative support to field superintendents and project managers.
- Help with project accounting, including collecting lien releases and processing invoices.
- Maintain and update company systems and online tools to track project progress.
- Work with field staff and coordinate vendors to keep job sites clean.
- Collaborate with product design and purchasing teams to ensure product specifications are aligned.
- Support scheduling for pre-construction activities.
- Submit project documents for permit approval as needed.
- Coordinate with city planning departments to set up utilities for new homes under construction.
