Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) to oversee the security operations related to classified programs, particularly those involving Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), Special Access Programs (SAPs), and other classified materials. The CPSO will play a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to regulations such as the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM, 32 CFR Part 117), relevant Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) such as ICD 705 for SCIFs, and Department of Defense (DoD) guidelines. This position demands exceptional leadership in security program management, personnel security, and SCIF operations, contributing to our expansion in a dynamic defense landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Comprehensive Security Program Management

  • Ensure all security requirements related to clients are met, including compliance with NISPOM, DoD directives, and specific contract stipulations.

  • Conduct security audits, self-assessments, and support Staff Assistance Visits, Customer Security Assessments, and CSA (Cognizant Security Agency) evaluations.

  • Address security incidents and breaches, carry out investigations, document findings, suggest corrective actions, and compile reports for both internal and external stakeholders, including culpability assessments and impact analyses.

  • Oversee on-site security support, prioritize management tasks, mediate conflicts, and deliver ad hoc security services to program staff.

Personnel Security and Access Management

  • Administer security clearances, background checks, briefings, debriefings, and necessary indoctrinations for personnel who access classified information.

  • Maintain personnel security documentation for SCI, SAP, and SAR (Special Access Required) programs, utilizing appropriate systems.
