Role Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic Contracts and Pricing Strategy Lead to drive the strategic structuring, pricing, negotiation, and execution of key deals across our diverse customer base. This role will be pivotal in shaping our contracting and pricing strategies for U. S. government, international governments, and commercial clients. You will play a critical role in developing frameworks that enable Northwood to expand deliberately into new markets and customer segments.

In this high-impact position, you will merge your expertise in government contracting with solid commercial acumen to transform intricate technical offerings into actionable business agreements. Collaboration with business development, legal, finance, and leadership teams will be key as you craft acquisition strategies, negotiate significant contracts, and develop internal resources to enhance Northwood's operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of contracting and pricing strategies for Northwood's clientele, including U. S. government, international government, and commercial sectors.
  • Design and negotiate sophisticated agreements encompassing direct sales, strategic partnerships, channel relationships, and government initiatives.
  • Work closely with business development, legal, finance, and leadership to create deal structures and pricing strategies that balance customer needs, regulatory requirements, and Northwood's business objectives.
  • Influence acquisition and contracting strategies at the inception of customer relationships, turning potential opportunities into viable contracts.
  • Create and sustain internal playbooks, templates, and negotiation frameworks for common contract and pricing situations.
  • Assist in proposal, capture, and partnership endeavors by providing insights on contract structure, pricing components, terms and conditions, and overall strategic direction.
