Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent. A minimum of 5 years of experience in corrosion control measures related to DOT 192 and the Texas Railroad Commission. Proficient in conducting TRRC audits. Possess a valid driver’s license and fulfill company insurability requirements. Comply with WhiteWater Midstream’s drug and alcohol program. Proficient in Microsoft Office and various operating systems, with strong basic math skills. Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays, and respond to call-outs and emergencies as necessary. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and other technical diagrams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain both external and internal corrosion control systems, including cathodic protection, ensuring accurate documentation of all activities.
  • Assess pipeline conditions to identify and mitigate potential risks to human safety and environmental impact.
  • Conduct tests to evaluate the effectiveness of cathodic protection systems, recommending corrosion prevention strategies for pipeline facilities.
  • Diagnose areas of non-compliance, propose corrective actions, and execute maintenance tasks, including repairs and installations.
  • Perform atmospheric and under insulation corrosion inspections, evaluate pipeline coating conditions, and analyze data from internal corrosion control systems.
  • Review bids from third-party contractors for repair works and supervise the execution and inspection of these tasks.
  • Document and maintain detailed records of system evaluations, improvement suggestions, and executed work.
  • Manage and document scheduled regulatory inspections, including rectifiers, bonds, AC mitigation, and annual surveys.
  • Create and update company standards, procedures, and recordkeeping forms for the corrosion program at WhiteWater Midstream.
  • Adhere to safety, environmental, and corrosion control regulations, along with company policies.
  • Participate in safety training, uphold required certifications, exemplify high safety standards, and assist in regulatory inspections.
