Crane and Forklift Operator - Saudi Arabia

As a Crane and Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials and equipment around the rig site. Your primary responsibility will be to operate cranes and forklifts, adhering to stringent safety regulations and operational procedures to maintain a secure working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate cranes and forklifts to transport equipment, materials, and supplies throughout the rig site.
• Perform pre-operation inspections on cranes, forklifts, and associated lifting accessories.
• Adhere to established lifting plans, load charts, and rigging signals to ensure proper procedures are followed.
• Effectively secure, lift, and position loads while maintaining clear communication with riggers, signalmen, and supervisors.
• Comply with all site safety rules, permits, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Promptly report equipment defects, unsafe conditions, or incidents.
• Maintain accurate operation logs and inspection records.

Qualifications & Requirements

• A valid Crane Operator and/or Forklift Operator certification/license is required.
• Demonstrated experience in operating cranes and forklifts within industrial or rig environments.
• Comprehensive knowledge of safe lifting practices and load limits.
• Ability to effectively follow hand signals and communicate via radio.
• Must be physically fit and able to work in challenging site and rig conditions.

Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant operating experience is preferred.
