Key Responsibilities:
• Act as a Cybersecurity Architect for our clients, conducting thorough security reviews of network diagrams, architecture blueprints, and related Risk Management Framework (RMF) artifacts to proactively identify security vulnerabilities before deployment.
• Analyze technical documentation and artifacts to evaluate systems/networks for potential security flaws, document actionable resolutions, and relay findings to relevant parties.
• Provide support in response to inquiries from the Network Security Operations (NSO) and Cyber teams.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve IT and cybersecurity challenges.
• Identify and document cybersecurity risks and threats, monitoring them closely and escalating issues to leadership when necessary.
• Serve as a point of contact for clients to resolve technical challenges, maintaining ownership of the issue until fully addressed, and developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for proactive issue management.
• Display expertise in federal client policies, guidelines, standards, and requirements, ensuring compliance of reviewed systems and advising system owners on non-compliance issues.
• Contribute to cybersecurity artifacts and technical presentations provided to clients.
• Create concise and accurate technical briefs for senior leaders and executives that simplify complex technical concepts.
• Gather necessary information or intelligence to effectively fulfill your responsibilities.
