Qualifications

Genuine passion for helping children with autism. Patience, compassion, and a strong ability to work within a team. Must be 18 years or older. High school diploma or GED is required. Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications, along with a Tuberculosis test (if not completed in the past year). Ability to pass a pre-employment background check. Capability to engage in various physical positions (sitting, bending, etc.). Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Must obtain Registered Behavior Technician Certification after completing onboarding.

Centria Autism is hiring a Dedicated Behavior Technician in Spring, Texas. This position works directly with children diagnosed with autism, following individualized behavior intervention plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

What You Will Do

  • Work one-on-one with children to support their development.
  • Implement evidence-based strategies to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
  • Help reduce challenging behaviors using proven techniques.
  • Follow the guidance and supervision of a BCBA throughout each session.
