Your Role
As the Department Manager of Makro’s Other Income (OI) team, you will spearhead initiatives focusing on online media and data monetization, aiming to enhance non-trade revenue streams. This pivotal position involves strategizing and leading the OI team dedicated to leveraging proprietary data and digital media assets. You will oversee the complete commercialization process, from guiding the internal data analytics team in analysis and product development to crafting competitive sales strategies and packaging Makro’s online media offerings. Collaborating with advertisers, agencies, and third-party partners, you will deliver impactful offerings that solidify Makro's position as a leader in the online media and data monetization landscape.
- Formulate and execute strategies for monetizing Makro’s online media and data assets, including Makro PRO.
- Translate customer and advertiser needs into actionable insights for data analysis and product development, working closely with the internal analytics team.
- Create competitive and insight-driven online advertising and data products, benchmarking against industry competitors while showcasing Makro’s unique digital capabilities.
- Develop enticing proposals for Makro’s digital media inventory that cater to advertiser needs and maximize revenue potential.
- Foster and maintain robust relationships with advertisers, agencies, and third-party partners to drive sales growth.
- Lead negotiations, product bundling strategies, pricing, and revenue forecasting for online media and data monetization projects.
- Establish, track, and report on KPIs to monitor sales performance and optimize monetization strategies.
- Work collaboratively with the in-store OI team to create integrated packages that enhance synergies between online and offline media assets.
