About the job
Legal Services NYC (LSNYC) is dedicated to combating poverty and advocating for racial, social, and economic justice for low-income residents in New York City. For over half a century, we have challenged systemic inequities that perpetuate poverty while providing essential legal services to help our clients secure basic necessities such as housing, income, family and immigration stability, education, and healthcare. As the largest civil legal services provider in the nation, our team of more than 600 professionals operates from neighborhood offices and outreach sites across all five boroughs, assisting hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers every year. We collaborate with numerous community-based and client-led organizations, government officials, public agencies, pro bono attorneys, and the judicial system to maximize our impact. Our mission is to fight discrimination and strive for equity among all low-income New Yorkers.
LSNYC offers its employees ample opportunities for professional growth and development, including access to our internal Justice Learning Center, where individuals can earn complimentary Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits and gain experience as trainers.
