The Role
We are seeking a passionate Developer Advocate located in Germany to enhance Kestra's visibility within the DACH region and the greater European developer landscape. This position is pivotal, bridging engineering and community engagement: you will write code, produce content, present at events, and be the voice of Kestra in discussions with engineers assessing orchestration tools for practical applications.
This is a highly technical position requiring a strong understanding of infrastructure, the ability to create working examples, and the expertise to engage meaningfully with engineers developing production systems. We prioritize depth over superficiality.
What You'll Do
Produce technical content (tutorials, blog articles, video demos, live presentations) aimed at helping engineers understand how to effectively utilize Kestra for real-world scenarios, avoiding marketing jargon.
Act as a representative for Kestra at meetups, conferences, and community events throughout Germany and Europe, focusing on fostering enduring relationships within the DACH developer ecosystem.
Develop and sustain demo projects, sample workflows, and integrations that highlight Kestra's functionalities in real-world contexts.
Engage actively with the open-source community on platforms like GitHub, Discord, and forums, responding to inquiries, addressing feedback, and relaying user insights back to the product team.
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to convert community feedback into feature requests, enhancements in documentation, and improved onboarding experiences.
Cultivate and support a local community of Kestra users and contributors within the German-speaking market.
What We're Looking For
A solid technical background , you have professional experience writing and deploying code (e.g., in Python, Java, TypeScript, or Go).
Familiarity with infrastructure or data tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, or workflow orchestration platforms.
Great communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to various audiences.
Experience working with open-source projects and contributing to community-driven initiatives.
