The Role

We are seeking a passionate Developer Advocate located in Germany to enhance Kestra's visibility within the DACH region and the greater European developer landscape. This position is pivotal, bridging engineering and community engagement: you will write code, produce content, present at events, and be the voice of Kestra in discussions with engineers assessing orchestration tools for practical applications.

This is a highly technical position requiring a strong understanding of infrastructure, the ability to create working examples, and the expertise to engage meaningfully with engineers developing production systems. We prioritize depth over superficiality.

What You'll Do

  • Produce technical content (tutorials, blog articles, video demos, live presentations) aimed at helping engineers understand how to effectively utilize Kestra for real-world scenarios, avoiding marketing jargon.

  • Act as a representative for Kestra at meetups, conferences, and community events throughout Germany and Europe, focusing on fostering enduring relationships within the DACH developer ecosystem.

  • Develop and sustain demo projects, sample workflows, and integrations that highlight Kestra's functionalities in real-world contexts.

  • Engage actively with the open-source community on platforms like GitHub, Discord, and forums, responding to inquiries, addressing feedback, and relaying user insights back to the product team.

  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to convert community feedback into feature requests, enhancements in documentation, and improved onboarding experiences.

  • Cultivate and support a local community of Kestra users and contributors within the German-speaking market.

What We're Looking For

  • A solid technical background , you have professional experience writing and deploying code (e.g., in Python, Java, TypeScript, or Go).

  • Familiarity with infrastructure or data tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, or workflow orchestration platforms.

  • Great communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to various audiences.

  • Experience working with open-source projects and contributing to community-driven initiatives.

About Kestra

Kestra stands as a pioneering orchestration platform that offers an open-source, declarative solution for managing data workflows, IT automation, and AI-driven systems. With a rapidly growing user base and significant backing, we are redefining how organizations handle mission-critical workloads.
