About the job

As the UK Direct to Consumer (DTC) Manager, you will spearhead the comprehensive development, performance optimization, and strategic advancement of JDE’s DTC operations for brands including Tassimo and L’OR. Collaborating with teams across Marketing, Demand Planning, Operations, Logistics, Sales, Finance, and Global DTC, your mission will be to create an exemplary DTC ecosystem that achieves our Net Operating Sales (NOS) growth targets while maintaining profitability.

As a strategic, data-driven, and consumer-focused digital leader, you will craft the DTC strategy for JDE brands, establish clear roles within the broader ecommerce landscape, and enhance excellence in customer experience, conversion rates, CRM, content, trading, forecasting, and operations. Close collaboration with global teams will be essential to leverage shared capabilities, influence platform and technical enhancements, and introduce innovations into the UK market.

As a crucial member of the ecommerce leadership community, you will advocate for digital transformation, foster capability building, and instill a growth-oriented culture. This role demands robust cross-functional leadership, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to unify global and local teams under a cohesive DTC vision.

In your capacity as DTC Manager, you will be fully accountable for achieving the NOS, Gross Profit (GP), and GP% objectives for JDE’s DTC channel, ensuring robust and sustainable commercial results that underpin the UK’s overarching growth strategy. You will lead the formulation of a clear, insight-driven DTC strategy that clarifies the channel’s role within JDE’s broader ecommerce vision and accelerates the transition to a more digitally-focused, consumer-centric business model.

Leading a cross-functional team, you will enhance the performance of DTC websites, develop impactful activation plans, refine the customer journey, and optimize conversion, CRM, subscriptions, and retention strategies. Your responsibilities will also encompass operational excellence across forecasting, stock management, fulfillment, and logistics service provider (LSP) performance, guaranteeing that the DTC channel delivers a reliable and high-quality end-to-end consumer experience. By partnering with Finance, Revenue Planning, and Supply Chain, you will proactively identify opportunities to enhance profitability and develop robust financial models and business cases to support strategic decision-making.

A significant aspect of your role will involve building strong connections within both UK and global teams, shaping the technical roadmap, driving alignment on key priorities, leveraging shared resources, and ensuring that the global platform meets UK commercial requirements.
