We are currently seeking a passionate and driven Director of Clinician Engagement. In this pivotal role, you will focus on expanding user engagement, fostering platform adoption, and creating scalable marketing strategies, all while championing a product that significantly impacts the clinical landscape.

Your Responsibilities

As the Director of Clinician Engagement, you will spearhead initiatives aimed at enhancing user identification, engagement, and sustainable growth across MDCalc's web and mobile platforms. Reporting directly to the Chief Medical Officer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, product, engineering, content, and commercial, to ensure that our marketing strategies align with MDCalc's clinical mission and business goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • **User Identification & Growth Strategy:** Craft and execute strategies to expand our user base, providing personalized and relevant experiences for clinicians.

  • **Engagement & Retention:** Develop initiatives that enhance user interaction, frequency of sessions, and consistent platform usage. Oversee the editorial calendar and strategize thought leadership opportunities, including conferences and media engagements.

  • **Digital Marketing Execution:** Manage digital channels, including email, social media, SEO/SEM, app store optimization, and paid advertising. Create campaigns that boost awareness, trial, and retention among healthcare professionals, while managing vendor relationships.

  • **Analytics & Insights:** Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks to assess the success of growth and engagement initiatives. Utilize user feedback from surveys and focus groups to inform strategy and refine tactics based on data-driven insights.

  • **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and clinical objectives.
