About Parallel Squared Technology Institute (PTI) is a non-profit research institute dedicated to advancing protein analysis technology and pioneering new biological explorations. PTI advocates for open research and educational initiatives that facilitate rapid career growth for scientists, engineers, and mathematicians.
Why This Matters Protein dysfunctions are linked to numerous diseases, including Alzheimer’s. However, the study of proteins is hampered by current technological limitations.
Our Approach PTI aims to overcome these challenges by developing innovative mass tags that will create a new framework for multiplexed protein analysis via mass spectrometry, achieving a 100-fold increase in throughput. Researchers at PTI and our collaborators will leverage these advancements to directly explore disease mechanisms and tackle long-standing challenges in biomedical research. Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced fundraising and development leader to drive the expansion and diversification of our funding sources. This role will be responsible for developing a sustainable and robust pipeline of philanthropic, corporate, and institutional partnerships. The Director of Development will craft cultivation strategies, manage key relationships, and ensure the effective execution of development operations to promote PTI’s long-term growth and impact. A background in biotechnology or biomedical organizations, or academia with experience in securing funding for large-scale STEM projects, is essential. We welcome candidates from remote, hybrid, or in-person backgrounds.
