QualificationsProven experience in credit and collections management at a senior level. Strong understanding of global finance and credit risk assessments. Excellent leadership skills with a track record of team management. Ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders across various departments. Experience with CRM and ERP systems, particularly in billing and invoicing processes. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Project management experience is preferred. Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.

Axon is in search of a strategic and dynamic Director of Global Credit and Collections. In this leadership role, you will oversee global credit risk and order-to-cash operations. You will shape our credit strategy, lead organizational transformation in cash collections, and manage a team across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. We seek a results-oriented leader who can engage senior stakeholders while ensuring flawless execution globally.

This role involves collaborating cross-functionally to gather customer requirements early in the sales cycle to enhance customer invoicing experiences. You will serve as a vital business partner to internal teams including Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Tax, Treasury, Controllership, and IT. You will contribute to policy development, process design, operational excellence, and change management as Axon enhances its processes and technology in the Global Credit and Collections lifecycle. Additionally, you will be responsible for establishing and updating accurate reserves, comprehending customer contracts and billing within Axon’s CRM and ERP systems, and understanding how Axon fulfills its performance obligations to customers and generates invoices.

Your mission includes driving business requirements to implement enabling technologies that ensure precise invoicing and timely collections based on Axon’s contracts and orders. You will establish and deliver best practices to optimize cash collections and minimize bad debts.

Moreover, you will lead various data standards initiatives, including customer master data, contracts, and accounts receivable details, collaborating closely with Finance, Sales Operations, and IT business partners. You will help create new policies or update existing ones and document processes where necessary.
