Axon is on the lookout for a strategic and energetic Director of Global Credit and Collections to oversee our global credit risk and order to cash operations. This leadership position is crucial for defining our global credit strategy, facilitating organizational improvements in cash collection, and leading a diverse team across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader adept at operating at both strategic and operational levels, effectively influencing senior stakeholders while ensuring seamless execution worldwide.

This role entails cross-functional collaboration to gather customer requirements early in Axon’s sales process, enhancing the customer invoicing experience. The Director will serve as a vital business partner to internal teams, including Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Tax, Treasury, Controllership, and IT. You will play a key role in developing policies, designing processes, driving operational excellence, and managing change as Axon enhances the technologies and processes used throughout the Global Credit and Collections lifecycle. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining accurate reserves, possessing a strong understanding of customer contracts and billing within Axon’s CRM and ERP systems, and ensuring Axon fulfills its performance obligations to customers.

Additionally, you will guide the business requirements to implement enabling technologies that guarantee accurate invoicing and timely collections based on Axon’s contracts and orders. Your mission will focus on developing and implementing best practices to enhance cash collections and minimize bad debts.

You will also lead various data standards initiatives, including customer master data, customer contracts, and accounts receivable details, collaborating closely with Finance, Sales Operations, and IT partners. Furthermore, you will deliver new policies or policy updates and create process documentation as necessary.
