Role Overview: Director of Maintenance Operations
The Director of Maintenance Operations leads all maintenance activities across a varied and extensive property portfolio, which includes large sites and many Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs). This leadership role covers both reactive and planned preventative maintenance, with a focus on service quality, compliance, operational efficiency, and tenant satisfaction. The position involves managing internal teams, working with external contractors, and driving ongoing improvements in maintenance operations.
Main Responsibilities
- Set strategic direction for the maintenance function across the organisation.
- Lead, develop, and organise a team of around 30 engineers, ensuring effective supervision and a clear team structure.
- Oversee maintenance operations to maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations.
