About the Role

SonderMind is in search of a Director of Payor Strategy & Integrations to be a key architect in driving enterprise growth. This leadership position is tailored for an experienced Payor Strategist who recognizes that the future of mental health resides at the crossroads of data-driven outcomes, ecosystem integration, and viable payor economics.

In this role, reporting directly to the Head of Payor Strategy and Partnerships, you and your team will serve as the primary liaison between SonderMind’s clinical innovations and our vital national and regional payor partners. Your focus extends beyond merely selling a platform; you will be responsible for designing the integration roadmaps that enable payors to address their most intricate challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Implement Payor Integration Strategies: Lead and mentor a high-performing team to craft and execute a robust integration strategy for national and regional payors.
Drive Payor Channel Activation and Growth: Take ownership of growth initiatives through the activation of our Payor Partner member base.

Qualifications for Success Essential Requirements 3 to 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering or a comparable technical role. Proficient SQL skills with hands-on experience in cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery). Experience in building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as dbt, Airflow, or equivalent frameworks. Strong proficiency in Python or another scripting language. Thorough understanding of data modeling, data structures, and contemporary data architecture patterns. Experience with CI/CD workflows, version control (Git), and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform is a plus). Familiarity with data governance, quality, lineage, and cataloging principles.
