Join TaskForce as the Director of Social Commerce & Growth, where you will spearhead the expansion of our merchandise ecosystem, transforming it into a powerful revenue-generating, audience-engaging, and movement-boosting channel.
This pivotal role encompasses various domains including social commerce, digital marketing, SEO, paid acquisition, creator partnerships, and cultural distribution. We are looking for a visionary leader who excels at converting apparel and cultural products into impactful campaigns that enhance traffic, drive sales, and elevate engagement across multiple platforms.
The Director will be responsible for strategizing and optimizing storefront performance across key platforms such as TikTok Shop, Instagram Shop, Shopify, Google, and other emerging commerce arenas, while leading initiatives in marketing, creator distribution, SEO, paid media, and partnership opportunities related to our merchandise and cultural offerings.
Social Commerce, Growth & Revenue
- Design and execute a comprehensive growth strategy across TikTok Shop, Instagram Shop, Shopify, and innovative commerce platforms.
- Develop and manage paid acquisition campaigns across TikTok, Instagram, Meta, and other relevant channels.
- Identify and create opportunities for sales enhancement through platform optimization, strategic creator partnerships, paid campaigns, affiliate marketing, and promotional initiatives.
- Set and achieve performance goals focused on traffic, conversion, revenue, engagement, and customer acquisition.
Storefront Management and Optimization
- Oversee the management of stores, including product uploads and optimization, with an emphasis on searchability and discovery. You will be responsible for adapting designs to selected merchandise through platforms such as Printify or Printful.
- Implement effective SEO strategies to boost organic traffic and product visibility, optimizing for AI and agentic search.
- Manage our social storefronts, building and maintaining a robust social commerce presence across TikTok Shop, Etsy, Instagram Shop, and more.
Creator, Influencer & Community Distribution
- Formulate strategies for distributing merchandise through creators, influencers, meme pages, community partners, advocacy networks, and cultural collectives.
- Oversee creator outreach, seeding plans, affiliate opportunities, and partnership-based distribution.
- Establish scalable systems for creator-driven promotions and community-led sales.
- Assess partner performance and suggest avenues for deeper collaboration.
Marketing Strategy & Campaign Development
- Lead the creation and execution of go-to-market strategies for merchandise launches linked to cultural, political, and social impact events.
- Identify target audiences, messaging strategies, content opportunities, and distribution channels for each product or collection.
- Direct email marketing and customer engagement initiatives for key shops.
Product & Merchandising Strategy
- Steer merchandise development processes, ensuring alignment with cultural trends and consumer insights.
