About the job
Are you passionate about integrating technology, strategy, and teamwork to create transformative software solutions?
At Jobber, we empower small businesses to thrive. We collaborate with local service providers such as plumbers, painters, and landscapers to revolutionize service delivery through innovative technology. With Jobber, these businesses can efficiently quote, schedule, invoice, and collect payments while ensuring a seamless and professional customer experience. The landscape of small business operations is rapidly evolving, and we are committed to equipping our clients with the tools they need to adapt and succeed in this dynamic environment.
THE CHALLENGE YOU WILL TACKLE
Although Jobber has successfully integrated AI into our operations, its potential remains untapped.
Currently, our AI capabilities enable call handling, response drafting, and support various product features. However, these functionalities are not yet unified. Some teams have advanced AI applications, while others lag behind. Certain workflows utilize intelligent automation, while others still rely on manual processes. Crucially, our system does not yet offer a comprehensive, proactive approach to business operations.
Service professionals still need to:
Manually follow up on jobs
Integrate context across workflows
Determine the next steps independently
This presents a significant opportunity to evolve Jobber from AI-driven features to AI-driven workflows and ultimately to AI-driven business operations.
You will be responsible for spearheading this transformation across our system.
WHO YOU ARE BUILDING FOR
Your work will directly support individuals who are too busy to focus on the intricacies of software.
A plumber wrapping up their last job of the day
A cleaner managing numerous clients and employees
A landscaper balancing scheduling, payments, and client follow-ups
They are not seeking AI; they are seeking clarity:
“What should I prioritize next?”
“Why did this job not convert?”
“Who should I check in with today?”
Ultimately:
They should not have to ask these questions at all.
