ROLE OVERVIEW
The District Manager is responsible for overseeing the operational performance and consistency across a designated group of Brodie League locations. This role ensures that game days are executed to standard, provides support and coaching to location leaders, and swiftly addresses operational challenges throughout the district.
As the main liaison between the Director of Operations and the on-site General Managers and League Managers in Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, and Vancouver, your primary mission will be to maintain the Brodie Standard for every league night in the district.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
District Execution & League Health
• Ensure all locations in the district consistently uphold the Brodie Standard.
• Monitor weekly operations, including game flow, staffing readiness, statistics accuracy, content delivery, and player experience.
• Identify execution gaps proactively and intervene to prevent escalation of issues.
• Maintain a professional, predictable, and well-organized atmosphere for league nights across all locations.
General Manager & League Manager Coaching
• Cultivate strong, confident location leaders capable of independent operation.
• Serve as the primary support for General Managers and League Managers.
• Guide leaders through challenges, promoting problem-solving rather than providing all the answers.
• Reinforce expectations, standards, and sound decision-making practices.
Standards Compliance & System Adoption
• Ensure adherence to Brodie systems, playbooks, and operational workflows.
• Hold location leaders accountable for following SOPs, checklists, and operational systems.
• Identify breakdowns in system compliance and address them effectively.
• Escalate systemic issues as necessary.
