Summary:
This position is integral in supporting our durability engineering testing and development efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, document, and manage thorough whole-vehicle durability and accelerated mileage accumulation (AMA) test plans tailored for various terrains and environmental conditions.
- Lead and perform vehicle durability tests at external proving grounds, public roads, and specialized testing facilities, ensuring compliance with stringent test cycles and safety standards.
- Plan and conduct on-vehicle instrumentation and data acquisition tests to accurately measure loads, strains, and vibrations on critical vehicle structures and systems.
- Diagnose and analyze durability-related failures that occur during on-road testing or initial field operations, identifying root causes through hands-on inspection and data analysis.
