Zoku Vienna is looking for a Duty Manager / Operations Manager to help shape a hotel experience that goes beyond the ordinary. This role centers on creating a welcoming space where guests can stay, work, and connect while experiencing the local culture.
Role overview
The Duty Manager will ensure smooth daily operations across all departments. This includes mentoring, training, and empowering a team of "Sidekicks", the operational staff, to deliver high service standards. The position works closely with the Lead Duty Manager and collaborates with other Duty Managers and Department Leaders to keep all areas aligned and running efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Support and develop the Sidekicks team, focusing on service quality and operational excellence
- Maintain coordination between departments to ensure seamless operations
- Lead by example in a setting that combines a Living Kitchen, Kindred Spirits Bar, events, and co-working lunches with a hybrid hotel concept
- Uphold Zoku’s standards to guarantee memorable guest experiences
Requirements
- Strong background in Food & Beverage operations
- Experience leading teams and motivating staff
- Commercial mindset with a focus on achieving goals
- Ability to connect with people and work collaboratively
This position reports directly to the Lead Duty Manager and is based in Vienna, Austria.
