You will handle the typical caseload of a small animal practice, collecting patient histories, conducting physical examinations, and developing diagnostic and treatment plans under the guidance of your supervising veterinarian. Additionally, you will have the chance to assist in surgeries, manage medical cases, provide wellness care, and improve your client interaction skills, all while maintaining accurate medical records (SOAPs).
Who We Seek:
We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated veterinary students who are eager to engage in patient care and uphold our professional and ethical standards. Participants should be familiar with the Veterinary Practice Act, understanding the scope of duties permissible and the required levels of supervision to ensure a safe and beneficial learning experience.
As a member of our team, professionalism in appearance and behavior is expected, as outlined in our employee handbook.
