Role overview
The E-Commerce Design Specialist partners with client services, creative teams, and freelance designers to deliver standout content for e-commerce platforms. This role involves interpreting creative direction, both visual and verbal, to produce images and layouts that support project goals. The position fits someone who thrives in a busy setting, understands marketing, and uses data to inform creative choices. Collaboration with major brands and advertisers across North America is a key part of the job, along with building expertise in e-commerce platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Design visuals for e-commerce, optimized for both mobile and desktop.
- Create promotional videos using animation and basic editing.
- Work with client services and creative teams to brainstorm and develop content.
- Test and analyze shopping behavior to refine best practices.
- Support Account Leads with analytical insights for decision-making.
- Communicate clearly with clients, team members, and freelance designers.
- Contribute ideas and feedback during creative meetings.
- Organize and manage images for use across multiple platforms from start to finish.
Requirements
- Background in graphic design, digital marketing, or a related field; experience in SaaS or tech is a plus.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and strong Excel proficiency.
- Proven project management abilities and experience working with diverse stakeholders.
- Comfort working independently while contributing creatively within a team.
