Project Overview
Each project encompasses distinct tasks, including but not limited to:
- Designing original computational engineering problems that replicate real-world engineering workflows;
- Creating problems that necessitate Python programming for engineering calculations and simulations;
- Ensuring problems are computationally intensive, requiring numerical methods or iterative solutions;
- Developing challenges related to system design, optimization, and analysis;
- Grounding problems in tangible research challenges or practical engineering applications;
- Verifying solutions using Python alongside standard engineering libraries;
- Clearly documenting problem statements and providing verified correct answers.
Qualifications We Seek
This opportunity is ideal for engineers experienced in Python who are open to part-time, non-permanent projects. The preferred qualifications include:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field;
- Proficiency in Python for numerical validation. Familiarity with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, or other domain-specific libraries is acceptable;
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience, including applied, research, or teaching roles;
- A solid understanding of practical engineering constraints and approximations;
- Exceptional written English skills (C1+ proficiency);
- Professional certifications (e.g., CMME, SAS Certifications, CAP) and experience in international or applied projects are advantageous.

Project Time Commitment
During active phases, tasks are estimated to require approximately 10–20 hours per week, depending on project requirements. This estimate is not a guaranteed workload and applies solely to active project phases.
Compensation
Contributors can earn up to $50 per hour, contingent upon their level of expertise and contribution pace. Compensation varies across projects based on scope, complexity, and required expertise. Note that different projects on our platform may offer varying earning levels based on specific requirements.
