We facilitate their love for anime through streaming video, merchandise, events, and more.Join our dynamic team to shape the future of anime!Strategic Sourcing Manager - LocalizationAbout the RoleThe Strategic Sourcing Manager - Localization plays a pivotal role in supporting sourcing and procurement activities within Crunchyroll's Localization category, which includes Subtitling, Dubbing (both English and International), Creative Localization, and Accessibility services.This position emphasizes the execution of sourcing events, thorough analysis of vendor proposals, coordination of contract reviews, and the maintenance of supplier performance metrics in collaboration with senior sourcing leadership.You will engage closely with the Director of Strategic Sourcing, the Localization leadership team, and cross-functional partners in Content Operations, Legal, and Finance to ensure our localization services excel in delivering value, quality, and efficiency for fans around the globe.Your ResponsibilitiesExecute sourcing initiatives for localization services including dubbing, subtitling, and accessibility, encompassing rate benchmarking and contract negotiations.Conduct comprehensive vendor and market research, prepare rate comparisons, and analyze expenditure data to identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities.Manage sourcing events and RFx processes alongside senior sourcing leaders, ensuring alignment among stakeholders, accuracy in documentation, and timely completion of tasks.Draft and oversee MSA/SOW templates with legal guidance; track changes, maintain version control, and finalize documents for execution.Keep supplier data, rate cards, and purchase orders accurate within procurement systems; monitor spending trends and report key metrics for assigned categories.Track supplier key performance indicators such as on-time delivery, cost performance, and quality feedback, preparing reports and dashboards for business reviews.Collaborate with Localization, Content Operations, and Marketing Localization teams to ensure requests are routed correctly and to assist in intake prioritization.Support forecasting and capacity planning by gathering data to inform seasonal volume increases and resource allocation decisions.Coordinate process improvements and reporting enhancements.
