Your Role

As a Solutions Architect, you will act as a trusted technical and business advisor, collaborating with clients to design, prototype, and implement cutting-edge solutions on the Mapbox platform. Your direct engagement with customers and account teams will help identify needs, architect solutions, and translate data, mobility, and mapping into impactful digital experiences that yield tangible business results. This position is perfect for a professional who marries technical depth with commercial insight, thriving at the crossroads of strategy, architecture, and execution. Ideal candidates will possess a robust background in software engineering, product management, solutions engineering, or technical consulting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Sales to articulate Mapbox’s technical value and cultivate opportunities.

  • Conduct technical discovery to grasp customer objectives, requirements, and success metrics, ensuring solution designs align with business ambitions.

  • Architect and present scalable solutions utilizing Mapbox SDKs, APIs, and platform services.

  • Address technical inquiries from customers (RFI/RFQ) with precise technical documentation and solution proposals.

  • Offer technical support during the pre-sales process, enabling rapid technical onboarding through workshops, demos, and proofs of concept in a fast-paced digital landscape.

  • Champion customer success by expediting time-to-value and facilitating adoption in a complex ecosystem.

  • Represent customer interests and provide constructive feedback to influence product and engineering strategies.

  • Keep abreast of developments in mapping, mobility, and AI technologies, sharing best practices with internal teams and clients.
