Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in collecting court-ordered restitutions and fines for criminal and civil defendants.
- Draft and file legal documents electronically using the Electronic Court Filing system (ECF).
- Prepare garnishments, liens, and other legal documents needed for collections.
- Coordinate with AUSAs in the Monetary Penalties Unit (MPU) to manage collection activities.
- Conduct research in public and private databases to gather information and identify assets.
- Prepare legal documents such as motions, memoranda, subpoenas, and discovery materials in compliance with legal standards.
- Support trial preparations by organizing case materials and assisting with document management tasks.
