Compensation: $16/hour
Weekly Commitment: Approximately 20 hours

Field trips during the internship may include visits to the Aquinnah Cultural Center, BiodiversityWorks, Sheriff’s Meadow Foundation, Great Pond Foundation, Polly Hill Arboretum, Island Grown Initiative, and MV Museum.

We invite high school students to apply for the Environmental Training Summer Internship through the Claire Saltonstall Education Program. This internship provides a unique opportunity for students interested in environmental science and conservation to gain hands-on experience and leadership skills. Over the six weeks, you will explore various career paths in environmental science and resource management while participating in field trips to local non-profit organizations. This internship promises a comprehensive understanding of non-profit environmental initiatives on Martha’s Vineyard.
