Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:Execute translation tasks for in-game text, UI, legal materials, and supporting documentation, adhering to client guidelines and established tone and style. Perform editorial tasks, including the revision and review of translations to guarantee linguistic accuracy, consistency, and fluidity. Engage in creative localization activities, developing and maintaining glossaries, style guides, and character profiles within set ownership frameworks. Meet project deadlines and productivity targets while ensuring high quality within a defined localization pipeline. Maintain consistency in tone, voice, and terminology across all content and game elements. Collaborate with fellow translators to review work for cohesion and logical flow of content. Identify and troubleshoot localization issues, including those raised during reviews and bugs encountered during testing. Utilize translation and project management tools (e.g., memoQ, JIRA, client-specific systems) to monitor progress and uphold workflow visibility. Manage localization queries in accordance with team workflows. Assist in onboarding new translators by providing insights on language-specific guidelines and processes.
