Role overview

The Evening Shift Licensed Technician Team Lead position is based at Clutch’s reconditioning facility in Mississauga, Ontario. The shift schedule is Monday through Thursday, from 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM. This role blends technical work with leadership on the shop floor, focusing on maintaining a smooth reconditioning process and upholding quality and safety standards.

This position is well suited to someone who enjoys production-focused work, leads by example, and is comfortable balancing vehicle diagnostics and repairs with mentoring other technicians.

Signing bonus: $3,500, paid after successful completion of a 3-month probationary period.

Main responsibilities

  • Manage the workflow: Oversee each stage of the reconditioning pipeline, including Inspection, Mechanical, Bodyshop, Detail, Quality Control, and Merchandising. Keep vehicles moving efficiently and support the team in meeting targets.
  • Hands-on technical execution: Perform inspections, complete repairs, and provide technical support as needed on the shop floor.
