Role Overview:
We are looking for an Event Sales Representative who will engage directly with homeowners at various community events, festivals, and home shows in the Grand Rapids area. Your primary responsibility will be to generate leads and secure appointments for our sales team while embodying our brand with enthusiasm and professionalism.
This part-time, entry-level position comes with paid training opportunities and the chance to develop essential skills in sales, negotiation, strategic planning, and closing techniques. It's an exciting opportunity to express your creativity in communication while having fun with the third-largest home remodeling company in the United States.
We appreciate any customer-facing experience, and while backgrounds in sales, hospitality, retail, food service, and education are common, we welcome candidates from any field that demonstrates strong communication, adaptability, and interpersonal skills. Previous experience in event marketing is a plus but not required.
Typical Event Day Responsibilities:
- Location/Transportation Requirements: The Event Sales Representative must travel to various event locations such as home shows, community festivals, craft shows, and other high-traffic local events, typically within a designated region. Reliable transportation is necessary for timely attendance.
- Setup & Physical Requirements: This role involves setting up branded booths or displays, which may include signage, promotional materials, and product samples. Physical stamina is required for setup and breakdown.
