About the job
About Us:
Mem Global is a vibrant community where Jewish young adults in their 20s and early 30s come together to connect, explore, and create meaningful Jewish experiences with their peers. As the overarching brand for our extensive global programs, Mem Global empowers young adults to embody Jewish traditions through thousands of peer-led gatherings across more than 25 countries each year. Our mission is to cultivate environments where Jewish young adults can lead, learn, and forge communities that are essential for a thriving Jewish future.
We are excited to announce an opening for an Executive Director to spearhead and expand Embark, an emerging initiative dedicated to supporting mixed-heritage and interfaith couples in their 20s and 30s as they navigate Jewish life together. The Embark program fosters small groups of couples for a structured learning journey, which includes facilitated discussions with a rabbi, relationship-focused dialogue, immersive retreats, and opportunities to build enduring Jewish community and friendships. The Executive Director will play a pivotal role in scaling Embark into a high-impact program while maintaining the warmth, accessibility, and relational depth that characterize the experience. This leader will oversee strategic planning, program expansion, staffing, and operational execution across North America.
The Executive Director will collaborate closely with Mem Global leadership, program teams, Base rabbis, and external partners to enhance the number of cohorts and participating couples, ensuring that the program remains high-quality, financially sustainable, and aligned with Mem Global’s mission of fostering connections, learning, and leadership among Jewish young adults. This position reports to the Vice President of the Jewish Learning Department and will directly supervise the Embark Program Manager, working closely with the CEO and Chief Program Officer of Mem Global.
