Role Overview

The Expert in CS & IMS Core Operations leads CS Core Backoffice and Level 2 Operations at Pakistan Mobile Communication Limited (Jazz). This position requires deep, practical experience with IMS components such as CSCF, ATS, CCF, ENS, as well as USCs, SS7/Diameter firewalls, MSCs, MGWs, SBCs, GMSCs, and Fixed NGN platforms. Familiarity with Huawei equipment is preferred. The role reports to the CS Core Planning and Operations Manager and works within a team of 12.

Main Responsibilities

Oversee operations and maintenance for cloud-based Voice Core Network solutions, including P-CSCF, I-CSCF, ATS, CCF, ENS, MSCs, MGWs, USCs (SS7, Diameter, SCP), and i-SBCs/A-SBCs.
Manage configuration, fault resolution, and performance optimization for CS & IMS Core network infrastructure.
Conduct network audits and health checks to maintain high availability and performance across consumer and enterprise services.
Administer and maintain Huawei platforms, applying strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
Coordinate with vendors to address technical issues and ensure smooth network operations.
Support Jazz’s Technology and Development framework by designing and implementing scalable solutions that meet global standards.
