About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated professional to support the development of raw material resources. This involves mapping new areas, engaging in discussions with production teams, authorities, neighbors, and interest groups to secure raw material licenses while ensuring compliance with regulations. A significant part of the role will be managing Environmental Impact Projects in collaboration with specialists from consulting firms. To secure a pipeline for future extraction of sand, gravel, and stone, the focus will be on developing access to raw materials from initial contact with landowners to final licensing.Responsibilities and DutiesThe ideal candidate will provide expert advice, be a supportive colleague, and maintain a strong connection to production operations. We envision a candidate with a scientific background whose tasks will frequently intersect with administrative duties related to raw material permits. Experience in processing raw material licenses, GIS, and drafting Environmental Impact Reports (EIR) will be advantageous.Your responsibilities will include collaborating with production teams on planning and monitoring production, obtaining necessary permits, and developing excavation and remediation plans.Team and Department OverviewYour primary office will be in Aarhus, where you will join a team focused on the Jutland production sites. You will work alongside five colleagues in the technical department, based in Søborg, but engaged in raw material projects throughout the country, both onshore and offshore. Your colleagues are always available to provide insights and support.Additionally, we maintain ongoing collaborations with external companies that contribute valuable input and advice on noise assessments, hydrological models, mapping of habitats, and protected species, among other exciting projects. Our team possesses a high academic standard, working on applications for new raw material licenses both on land and at sea. We also support operations in existing raw material sites and ensure that rehabilitated areas contribute to enhancing endangered habitats and significantly increasing biodiversity.Since 2003, we have systematically addressed biological topics and biodiversity, utilizing both internal resources and external consultants.We aim to strengthen our team with a scientifically knowledgeable professional who can engage in meaningful discussions internally and with authorities, external experts, NGOs, and neighbors.
