The Field Operations team at Apna has been a cornerstone in propelling our success and establishing us as a market leader within just 18 months of our product launch. By strategically managing our funnel of small and medium business (SMB) leads and ensuring timely onboarding of clients, we have surpassed multiple established competitors. We are excited to expand our team to enhance our existing capabilities and drive Apna’s next phase of rapid growth.
Your Role:
As a Business Development Executive (BDE), you will spearhead our market efforts to acquire SMB customers. This involves conducting cold calls, engaging with potential clients, and successfully closing long-term deals in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Arrive at the designated location punctually every morning at 9:30 AM.
- Conduct a minimum of 20 cold call meetings with HR representatives and decision-makers, totaling 500 meetings each month (pro-rated for your joining month).
- Maintain real-time updates of each meeting in our CRM system, only CRM-entered meetings will be counted.
- Achieve a minimum of 20 closures in your joining month, 40 in the following month, and 50 thereafter (also pro-rated for your joining month).
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduation or at least 12th pass, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience: 0-1 year, preferably in customer acquisition.
- Preferred industries: FMCG, online payment applications.
- Essential skills: Strong negotiation, lead generation (both cold calling and in-person), and a street-smart attitude.
- A valid bike and driving license are mandatory.
- Must be a team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively is required.
