In this vital role, you will ensure seamless customs operations by:Preventing shipment delays at the border by meticulously completing documentation and providing necessary information within set timeframes.Ensuring that all customs paperwork is accurate and compliant with legal standards.Reviewing incoming customs invoices to verify accuracy regarding weights, values, tariff codes, quantities, GST, duty, and excise tax.Identifying shipments needing amendments and communicating pertinent information to the Team Leader to mitigate potential fines.Tracking shipments to confirm release by customs, utilizing online tools to monitor entries by reference number, and attaching documentation as required.Applying for and preparing Import Permits as necessary.Maintaining current knowledge of customs regulations and procedures.Collaborating with other internal teams to address any customs-related issues.Acting as a liaison between customs officials and various government levels.Shift: Monday - Friday, 3 PM to 11:30 PM
